Research on the Residual Strength of Cracked Plate Considering Fatigue Crack Propagation under Cyclic Load

Fatigue damage caused by cyclic loading is a major concern in engineering applications. Cracks propagated can lead to catastrophic failure, which have severe consequences safety-critical systems. The main objective of the paper investigate residual strength cracked plate considering fatigue crack propagation under loading. In this study, model proposed study difference compressive and tensile with pre-crack crack. influence factors such as length, number cycles, tensile/compressive loads, out-of-plane deformation are considered plate. numerical results gain insight into effect on structural strength, aim providing guidance for evaluating components.
